[Yves Fortin] Producer
Originally from the Abitibi region in Quebec, Yves Fortin spent fifteen years producing feature films and television series in Montreal before moving to Quebec City in 1998. Since the move, he has produced five more fiction features and a documentary series for television.
Manners of Dying is his first English-language production. Previous feature films include Souvenirs intimes by Jean Beaudin, Clandestins by Denis Chouinard and Nicolas Wadimoff, Le sexe des étoiles by Paule Baillargeon, Le marais by Kim Nguyen and Le ciel sur la tête by André Melançon and Geneviève Lefebvre. Fortin is presently producing Marc-André Forcier’s latest feature, Les Etats-Unis d’Albert, which is in the postproduction stages.
He also continues to develop and produce a number of documentary and short film projects. |
