[Jeremy Peter Allen] Director
Jeremy Peter Allen lives and works in Quebec City. Over the past ten years, he has worked on over fifty film projects in various capacities (producer, production manager, assistant director, editor).
Most recently, he was production manager for feature films such as La face cachée de la lune by Robert Lepage and The Marsh by Kim Nguyen. Requiem contre un plafond, a short film Allen directed in 2001, has been shown in over twenty-five international festivals in thirteen countries, picking up jury awards in Mexico and Portugal, as well as an audience-favorite award for actor Yves Jacques (The Barbarian Invasions) at a local festival in Montreal in 2003.
A previous short Allen directed, Les douches fulgurantes (1997), also toured extensively on the international film festival circuit. 2004 will be the year of two big firsts : Manners of Dying, a feature film directorial debut, and Liam, a first baby. Allen is presently splitting his time between playing with the baby and writing his next project. |
